M60 is supplied in 25kg reinforced paper bags, and is pre-blended. It simply requires the addition of water on site and mixing with a forced action mixer, or by hand if preferred. We do recommend that if you decide to mix by hand, you ensure that it is vigorous and all powder is mixed well to a cake batter like consistency before you use the mortar. This rapid strength mortar is ideal to be used at depths from 10mm-75mm in one pass, however greater depths can be achieved using the layer-upon-layer method. M60 achieves exceptional bond strength quickly without the use of an additional primer, saving time and money.
It is also possible to bulk out M60 with the addition of up to 30% hard stone clean aggregate, but please note this will reduce the product’s strength gain and alter its performance characteristics. If additional aggregate is added please try a patch test prior to the full repair to ensure you are happy with the final result.
