ProPrimer instructions
How to prepare surfaces for ProPrimer
Ensure the area is thoroughly dry, free from any contaminant that may hinder adhesion such as dust, oil and grease and in a sound stable condition. Prior surface treatments must be removed and the surface roughened by mechanical scabbing to provide a good key. If using with underfloor heating this must be switched off for at least 48 hours before and after the application. If you apply Ultra Tile Fix ProPrimer onto a calcium sulphate screed it must be dry and below 75%RH. Calcium sulphate screeds are prone to surface laitance and should be mechanically abraded to remove any debris on the surface.
How to apply ProPrimer
Apply UltraTileFix ProPrimer using a brush or roller, scrub well into the surface to avoid any pooling and allow to fully dry. If you need to apply a multi-coat, ensure each that each coat dries before you apply the next.
Use on porous substrates
UltraTileFix ProPrimer should be diluted before use. The for a 1st coat use 3 parts water to 1 part primer, for a 2nd coat use 1 part water to 1 part primer. On really absorbent subfloors you will almost certainly require a 3rd coat, if a 3rd coat is needed use this at 1 part water to 1 part primer. In good drying conditions, UltraTileFix ProPrimer should be ready for an additional coats after approximately 1-2 hours.
Use on non-porous substrates
On non-porous substrates use just 1 coat, completely neat.
